Our "Amathilde" shawl is extremely soft and elegant, hand-loomed with 100% Baby alpaca wool.

Exceptional thermal capabilities: Alpaca is a silky, soft and resistant fiber, with thermal properties due to the microscopic pockets of air found in the fiber. These pockets make the garments breathable on warm days, and also maintain body heat in cold times.

Baby Alpaca wool is hypoallergenic, does not cause discomfort or itching and is so soft that it can be worn directly on the skin.

The alpaca fiber has more than 15 natural colors ranging from natural black, through various shades of gray and brown. Most of our products are made with the natural colors of the fiber, without dyeing, which makes them even more ecological and improves their durability.

Other colors are created using natural dyes such as seeds and plants. The artisans of the Andes are expert masters of dyeing, and their wisdom can be seen reflected in each product.
